Bellamy Brothers go International with Gölä

Darby, Florida  March 24, 2010  Hit Country Duo, The Bellamy Brothers sign an agreement with Universal Records Switzerland to record CD with Swiss singing sensation Gölä.

This international breakthrough will result in the Bellamy Brothers recording several songs in the Swiss dialog and Gölä the tattooed star from the Bernese Oberland singing the Bellamy Brothers songs in English.

What Gölä songs the Bellamy Brothers will interpret is not yet known. However, one thing is certain the Greatest Hits CD will be released in Switzerland, Germany and Austria in the fall. The Bellamy Brothers are excited about the unique project: "Its a great honour for us to work with Gölä. Gölä is extremely talented and we really like his music. Well definitely have lots of fun together."

Additionally, a thrilled Gölä said to SonntagsBlick and international periodical "Its always been my dream to play with an American Super Group. I grew up with the Bellamy Brothers, and had many a fine night of love listening to their music. I'm really looking forward to getting to know them personally."
The idea for the mega-merger came from Universal Records Switzerland, which projects a great response in album sales due to the popularity of the Bellamy Brothers and Gölä.
